As the UK automotive sector enters a decisive phase, logistics and supply chain strategy will be central to restoring confidence, competitiveness and growth.
Automotive Logistics introduces ALSC UK 2026, outlining why this moment matters for the UK automotive supply chain. This opening sets the strategic context for the event, highlighting the pressures and opportunities facing UK logistics networks, from trade and capacity constraints to decarbonisation, digitalisation and the complex shift to electrification. The session will set out how collaboration across OEMs, suppliers and logistics providers will be critical to delivering a more resilient and competitive future.
[Keynote] Reimagine Logistics: Partnership, sustainability and resilience at JLR
In this opening session, Freight Operations Director Levent Yuksel explores how JLR is embedding sustainability and flexibility from packaging to last mile delivery, driving network efficiency, and forging long-term, value-added partnerships beyond transactional relationships.

[Panel] Thriving in chaos: How logistics leaders are keeping UK supply chains flowing despite permanent volatility
Even as vehicle production and sales recover in the UK, manufacturers and logistics providers must navigate successive supply chain crises and geopolitical instability, logistics cost and capacity issues, rapid market changes and new competition. In this session, logistics leaders will discuss how the UK automotive industry cannot wait for ‘normality’ - but to partner to succeed no matter what.
UK automotive supply chain leaders are being forced to rethink how they plan, buffer and move materials, vehicles and service parts in the face of growing uncertainty, complexity and competition. This session explores how automotive OEMs, suppliers and logistics providers can thrive even without stability, including by redesigning freight networks, inventory strategies and close partnerships to adapt to change, maintain flexibility and eliminate emissions and waste.
Logistics experts will share practical examples of how to balance resilience with efficiency in an increasingly unpredictable operating environment, with insights into how to manage pressures on freight, port capacity and warehousing solutions as well as rising costs. The panel will discuss fresh approaches and partnerships to keep operations in the UK on track amongst volatility and uncertainty, including through innovations in multimodal freight, greater visibility, waste reduction and close collaboration.
