Since June 2022, Heiko Gierhardt has been responsible for supply across JLR’s material fulfilment operations, including analysing and forecasting status and requirements, and driving cross-functional solutions together with supply chain stakeholders to confirm supply levels for all plants, sales and operations planning (S&OP) and sales and operations execution (S&OE). He has been with JLR since 2018 in a variety of purchasing roles for vehicle programmes. Prior to JLR, Heiko Gierhardt held various roles in supplier quality, model launch and delivery services for Porsche, Schaeffler and Volkswagen. He has also held roles as an associate professor for lean management at the University of Technology, Berlin and as visiting lecturer in automotive launch management at Trinity College Dublin.
